Abstract:
November pogrom 1938 in Pirmasens (Palatine); imprisonment in Dachau concentration camp; move to Ludwigshafen; administrative work for Pirmasens Jewish community; crossing Swiss border; reunion with daughter who had been in French internment camp of Gurs.

Also included are excerpts of letters by Jews from Baden, who were deported to Gurs and Les Milles: contains letters by Mrs. Basnizky (Tauberbischofsheim), Lotte Sauer (Ludwigshafen), Lotte Kirschbaum, Gertrud Weis, Robert Mayer, Gustav und Frieda Mayer (Edenkolben), Hedwig Baer (Buchen), and Klara Rosenfeld.
