Abstract:
This is a fictive memoir of two brothers symbolizing Jewish experiences in the 20th century. Both born in Poland, one is going to Palestine, the other to Germany (Berlin). The second part of the story emphasizes the experience of the brother who has immigrated to Berlin and the predicament of German Jews facing the rise of Nazism.
