Abstract:
In early 1926, the actors of the Habima (Hebrew language) theater left the Soviet Union for a 10-month tour abroad. They travelled to a number of countries, including Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, France, Germany, Netherlands and the United States. They spent four months in Poland, performing in various cities, and their productions met with great success. After the theater left the Soviet Union in 1931, and was established in Tel-Aviv, the actors went on tour to Poland in 1937.
