Abstract:
The women's section in the Central Camp in Auschwitz was founded in March 1942 and existed up to September 1942, when it was moved to Birkenau. Deals with the authorities of the section, the conditions of existence and of work, conditions in the hospital, and consecutive transports to the camp. The main prisoners in the camp were Polish, German, and Jewish women from Slovakia, France, Holland, and Belgium.
