Abstract:
A paper delivered at the 1st congress on the history of Andalusia, December 1976. Presents a Spanish translation of a fragment of the chronicle by Rabbi Eliyahu Capsali, "Seder Eliyahu zuta", which describes the events relating to the fall of Granada in January 1492. Posits that, faced with the fierce resistance of the Moors in Granada, Queen Isabella took an oath to expel all the Jews of the peninsula if the Lord granted the Christians victory over the Muslims.
