Abstract:
From a traumatic childhood to the canon of Israeli literature, the itinerary of Lea Goldberg is astounding. Outstanding Jewish artist and intellectual, she produces a multifaceted and unique work. Acclaimed poet, author, translator and scholar, she signs the Hebrew versified text of about 450 comics, between 1936 and 1954. Illustrated by the cartoonist Arie Navon, in Dvar Liladim, the leading magazine for children and young people at this period, this popular work is disavowed by its author, despite his continued success.
