Abstract:
"Die Arbeit untersucht anhand überlieferter Archiv- und Aktenbestände den Einfluss, den die SS auf 'das Recht', also Gesetzgebung, Justiz und Rechtswissenschaft, ausübte. Aufgrund der Weite des Themas und der schwierigen Überlieferungssituation können nur einzelne Teilbereiche berücksichtigt werden. Es erfolgt eine genauere Analyse von Beiträgen mit juristischem Bezug in der SS-Zeitung Das Schwarze Korps sowie der Rubrik Verwaltung und Recht in den Meldungen aus dem Reich, die gesammeltes nachrichtendienstliches Material enthielten und vom SD, dem Sicherheitsdienst der SS, herausgegeben wurden. Daneben wird die Kontrolle, die der SD im Reichswissenschaftsministerium auf die Universitäten und insbesondere die juristischen Fakultäten ausübte, anhand der Biographie von K. A. Eckhardt untersucht. Abschliessend wird das Verhältnis von SS bzw. SD und der Justiz aufbauend auf bereits bestehenden Erkenntnissen thematisiert. Die Autorin kommt zu dem Ergebnis, dass die SS, insbesondere auch über den SD, versuchte, Gesetzgebung, Justiz und Rechtswissenschaft bedeutend stärker als bisher angenommen im eigenen Interesse zu beeinflussen und zu kontrollieren"--(From the publisher's web site)
