Elisha Efrat is Prof. of Geography at University of Tel Aviv. This book, dealing with contemporary geography and politics of Israel, is an attempt to analyze current politcal events against the background of the geographical space in which they took place, and is based on a follow-up, record and study of the main events that occured in the two last decades and their impact on Israelś future towards the 21st century.
