Abstract:
On the font of printed Hebrew books in Amsterdam ("ôtiyyôt Amsterdam"), which was copied and used to produce Hebrew manuscripts in Germany, by Jacob ben Judah Leib (of Berlin and Hamburg ) and his contemporaries. States that the feature of copyists basing themselves on printed letters is not an exclusively Jewish one, but the number of Hebrew manuscripts produced was enormous.
