Abstract:
Traces the history of the "Protocols", discussing its first edition in Russia in 1903 and its European, American, and Arab translations. Describes, also, the trial in Bern (1933-35) of five members of the Front National who distributed the "Protocols". Immediately after World War II it seemed that the "career" of the book was finished. However, from the 1950s the book has appeared in many European and Arab countries, where its diffusion has the approval of some high-level state representatives.
Note:
An enlarged version appeared in "Les Protocoles des Sages de Sion", vol. II (1992) 367-416.
