Kurzfassung:
In this article, I would like to discuss the metaphorical term "school oflife" and the lines of criticism it raises regarding the institutional school. The purpose of the article is to present the story of Janusz Korczak, "The School of Life" as a literary and pedagogic interpretation of two later Israeli texts: "I Remember a Question" byYehuda Amichai and "Ofek" by Benjamin Tammuz. The analysisproposed for each of these texts will focus on the emerging dialogue between the School of Death and the School of Life in view of theintersection between these schools. In this sense, Korczak's actuality isrevealed again and emphasizes his uniqueness as an author, as anintellectual and especially as an educator
