Abstract:
Deals with six versions of Ladislav Grosman’s work. It was first published as a short story called "Past", in 1962 in Slovak; then it appeared in Czech translation in the Prague journal "Plamen" in 1964; it was then reworked twice as a screenplay for the film "Obchod na korze" ("The Shop on Main Street") in 1965, and the screenplay was published that same year in Czech; finally, the screenplay of the film was reworked to speak in Slovak and partly in Slovak-Polish-Yiddish.
