Abstract:
Modern-day popularization of Hitler and the Nazis, and trivialization of the Holocaust, create a "blurring of distinctions between Nazis and Jews and, at its most politically pernicious, a willed equation of the two". Describes this phenomenon in literature, in the arts, and in politics. The popularization of Hitler means a perpetuation of the worst occurrence in history and the danger that it may happen again.
