Abstract:
Asserts that the Holocaust demonstrated the essentially destructive nature of Christians' attitudes toward Jews. Meaningful relations between them will only be possible when Christians fully recognize their responsibility for the Holocaust and suitably revise their theology, including the removal of all traces of supersessionism. Notes that even the pioneer of Jewish-Christian dialogue James Parkes was insufficiently aware of the dangers of Christian contempt for Jews.
