Abstract:
Analyzes the myth of a Jewish world conspiracy. States that this concept appeared for the first time in the work of the Greek poet Philostratus in 200 CE. Surveys the manifestations of the conspiracy theory throughout the ages. Deals with the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion", which was based originally on a pamphlet written by Maurice Joly and developed by the Russian Pyotr I. Rachkovskii. Relates to the development of the idea of a Zionist conspiracy following the establishment of the State of Israel.
