Kurzfassung:
Surveys the different stages of Jewish-German relations from 1948 (when anti-Jewish riots took place in Munich) until the unification of Germany. While the occupation troops defended Jewish interests during the first postwar years, Jews found themselves isolated in the 1950s, and their presence was used as evidence of a "denazified" Germany. States that after the end of the survivor-martyr period and with the settlement in Germany of a new generation of Jews, it is obvious that the problem of rehabilitation has been handled successfully by the German authorities.
