Abstract:
What is Wisdom’s nature in the book of Daniel? It is widely thought as mantic. However, the art of vocabulary andstorytelling in this book may suggest another characterisation, that is, a wisdom as revealed and a source of all other formsof wisdom. Two episodes, in chapter 2 and chapter 5, are particularly relevant to value this hypothesis and grasp of thenature and patterns of this original wisdom. It is the wisdom of divine sense and of understanding mysteries. This Wisdom isancient and Betsaleel, as the craftsman of the cultic objects in the Temple, is the role model for it.
