Abstract:
A critique of historiography on fascism and racism in post-World War II Britain, with a focus on the views of Oswald Mosley and his Union Movement, the ideology of the National Front and its leaders, other far-right movements that arose afterwards and the attempts of all of them to achieve political influence, which was mainly unsuccessful. Antisemitism, which was an early focus of the ideology of far-right groups, was seen to be ineffective in the long run and the focus of these groups shifted to anti-immigration and anti-globalization.
