Abstract:
The newsletter "AJR Information" was inaugurated in London in 1941, the same year that the Association of Jewish Refugees was established. From the very beginning, the periodical took the stance of dissociating Jewish refugees in Britain from Germany and giving them a new British identity, which was stressed by the fact that the "AJR Information" was published in English. Many of those who wrote for the periodical maintained that there could be no return of Jews to Germany after the war.
