Criticizes recent attempts by various writers, from Norman Cohn through comics artist Will Eisner to Mikhail Lepekhin (from St. Petersburg), to discover who was behind the writing of the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion". Their sensational "discoveries" contain numerous errors and do not shed light on the origin of the "Protocols". Moreover, these writers have created a narrative which involves the Russian "Okhrana" (secret service), the Tsar's family, the Nazis, French and Russian noblemen, etc. The result is that these critics of the conspiracy myth have created a conspiracy myth of their own. Concludes that we will never discover either the origins of the "Protocols" or when and for what purposes it was written.
