Abstract:
Contests claims made by Hungarian revisionist historians who minimize the number of casualties amongst Hungary's Jews. Dwells on the problems involved in determining the size of the Jewish population in Hungary during the Holocaust and the extent of the losses suffered by the Jews. Examines the casualties among the Jews recruited into the Hungarian labor service units, the deportation of aliens of Jewish origin to Galicia in 1941, the numbers of the deported to concentration and extermination camps and those who were taken on death marches, and the death toll of the Arrow Cross terror in Budapest after 15 October 1944.
