It discusses immigration as a defining factor of the tradition and looks at trends such as Marranismo and Crypto-Jewishness. It highlights influential writers like Elias Canetti, Albert Cohen, Danilo Kis, Primo Levi, Angelina Muniz-Huberman, and A. B. Yehoshua.
