Abstract:
Reveals the antisemitic rhetoric used by a generation of American conservatives to express their resentment of the success of Jewish neoconservatives in gaining influence and power in the 1980s. The former's stereotypes paralleled those shared by U.S. elites, e.g. in the university, to complain about the social changes that were taking place in the interwar period, as Jews began entering the American mainstream.
