Abstract:
Elizabeth Gay wrote a few brief stories all connected to each other. The memoir consists of six ‘chapters’ titled with the names of the different helpers she and her family had had - helping them in Austria and Switzerland with immigration issues. She describes what they did for her family, but also how they helped many other Jews. She dedicated one chapter to her grandparents. Also included are copies of vital documents and a questionnaire from the Austrian Heritage Collection
