Abstract:
States that openly, or only thinly veiled, antisemitic expressions have again become legitimate in Germany, even in politically moderate circles and in their publications. They include resentment at Jewish use of the Holocaust as a "moral bludgeon"; the application of antisemitic stereotypes to Israel; the tendency to relate to Jewish Germans as though their homeland was not Germany but Israel; and the comparison of Israeli behavior toward the Palestinians with that of the Nazis toward the Jews.
