Abstract:
Based on a lecture delivered at the Kirchliche Hochschule Wuppertal, January 2004. Jewish feminists protest against a feminist Christology that emphasizes Jesus' sympathy for women against the background of a patriarchal, misogynic Jewish culture. Suggests approaches to Christology that cannot easily be misused in this way and that will instill respect for Judaism.
