Abstract:
Presents a critique of Chomsky's anti-Zionism, whereby Israel is to be abolished in its present form, on the grounds that Israel is an undemocratic terrorist state. Highlights Chomsky's one-sided admiration for the Arabs and his obsession with Israel, which he sees as a military outpost of the U.S. His leftist ideology made him bitterly disappointed in Israel's failure to become binational. He detects a Jewish (especially American Jewish) conspiracy against him, e.g. in the press. His fellow Jews have become hated enemies, while Holocaust deniers have become cherished allies. A read of Middle East history from 1947 undercuts Chomsky's fantasy of Arab moderation.
