Abstract:
Questions the view that Simone Weil was a case of Jewish self-hatred, arguing that her negative stands concerning the Jews during the 1930s were forms of extreme pacifism. Mentions, however, Weil's religious anti-Judaism and her report written for the French resistance in 1942 proposing the social exclusion of "non-assimilated" Jews in the future French Christian society.
