Abstract:
In the article, the author discusses the politics of memorialization of the Holocaust in Poland by focusing on the Jewish child survivors' early and postwar testimonies about the rescue of Jews in German-occupied Poland during World War II. Also cited are how cultural heritage and historical traditions influenced national identity, memory, and professional history, and the history of the Polish-Jewish relations during the Holocaust.
