Inhalt MUSIC FROM THE CENTER OF THE EARTH is a series of three electronic music installations deploying loudspeakers underground in various configurations. The works described are: NOTES FROM UNDERGROUND - a tape piece in col-laboration with Melissa Gould's light installation, FLOOR PLAN; THE MAGNETIC GARDEN, collective musical earthwork united by Curran's underground sound chambers and musics emulating biological time; and THE LISTENING WELL - an interactive listening and performing space around a well, here made to playback a continous sound-portrait of the world, as well as to dialogue with sounds "cast in" it by the public.
