Abstract:
This catalog features more than 90 images with accompanying text from the original exhibition, which tells the story of the D.C. area's Soviet Jewry movement (late 1960s - 1991). Also includes: Memoir by Natan Sharansky, Chair of the Jewish Agency for Israel, relating his experiences in a Soviet prison camp and the impact of the Soviet Jewry movement.
