Abstract: The heroic and passionate life of Marianne Golz, a Viennese operetta singer, executed in 1943 by the Nazi regime in Prague. After fleeing from Berlin to Prague in 1934 to avoid the Nazi persecution of her Jewish husband, Marianne becomes part of a secret organization that helps Jewish people to escape the country. Marianne, a beautiful, energetic and modern woman, was married three times and even in jail she never gave up with love. A few months before her death she falls in love with Richard Macha, a political prisoner she had met in jail. Their intense and desperate relationship, carried on through secret love messages, guides them through the last days of their life. Marianne was executed by guillotine the 8th October 1943 in the Pankrac prison. He followed her a few months later, in the same way.
