The book "May their lot be lighter... Of Janusz Korczak and his pupil" is written by Dr. Olga Medvedeva-Nathoo. The book publication is a joint project of the Janusz Korczak Association of Canada and the Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland). The book takes you through the fascinating story of one of the Janusz Korczak’s wards at the Home for Orphans run by Korczak (1912 – 1942). The life of the Canadian businessman and philanthropist Leon Gluzman, who had been living in Canada since 1930, is outlined against the background of the 20th century and its tumultuous events.
