In recent years, the situation of Jews in France has undergone fundamental transformations. What was considered as French Jewish history, shaped by the Dreyfus Affair and the Shoah, has diminished in importance. However, French Judaism and its relevancy in French society have become even more vital, rather than declining in meaning. Today, Jewish life and the State of Israel are considered to be especially important in French culture and politics. In cooperation with Centre Marc Bloch, Berlin
