Abstract:
Argues that antisemitism differs from Israel-critique by the mere fact that it constitutes a resentment, i.e. a feeling, that does not acknowledge the fallibility of the critic, but insists on his omnipotence, whereas true critique necessarily includes the ability for self-critique. Analyzes the five criteria which make up the European Union's working definition for anti-Zionist antisemitism, and shows that all five criteria are present in the international Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions campaign.
