Abstract:
States that the Holocaust is distorted and/or reinterpreted by the Arabs according to the needs of propaganda or of Arab/Palestinian psychological desires. Examines some of the major themes of this distortion, including Holocaust denial, Holocaust abuse and blackmailing of the West, praise for Nazis as Jew-hunters, comparison of Zionism to Nazism, presentation of Palestinians as the "Jews" of today, etc. Notes that some attempts have been made by Palestinians to approach this topic with impartiality and respect; that should be a necessary element in any plan for reconciliation.
